No extra reading materials, gave extras to new unit
Schedule: 2 prefer specials in afternoon, concern with SPA at end of the day (2:50-3:20) due to packing up and getting kids ready to leave especially in beginning of the year.
Lunch schedule shows 6 K units??? Is there strong possibility of 7 ( What is the District projecting?)
Lorax Stump: if we add PGE shinig star-is it still copy considered "copyrighted"?
1st grade
*Sallaz has 24 weekly reading testing workbooks. Albrecht has 40 testing workbooks. Jordan has 43 weekly reading tests workbooks. She has 22 practice workbooks. Marina has 18 weekly test workbooks. We all have quite a bit of the FCAT practice books. I can get that total if you need it.
*Would like to have recess together at the end of the day. Some were confused about the need for the extra time slot for specials. Some of us really like having our writing in the morning.
furniture-Can furniture requests happen after people find out what classroom they are going to be in?? Oh-one person requested a massaging recliner chair. :)
tree stump: shooting star, carve a picture of the TOY each year in a new tree. :)
Guest speaker: not really for our grade.
2nd grade -
We have only one extra reading workbook left.
furniture - teachers new to our grade level aren't sure yet but think they would like desks.

Matthingly needs not reading workbooks, Sunshine didn't need any for her or Jannette, and I need enough for one class, I have enough books for one of my classes.
We are good with the schedule, but wondering if we will all have recess together or if successmaker will be scheduled like this year.
Linda suggested that everyone in the school use the clocks on the computers for specials and the lounge and cafeteria clocks be set and checked to a computer clock.
Also we are asking that extra mathbooks and planners be ordered so we have books to use under the doc camera and enough to replace books when students leave unexpectedly.

Schedule concerns: only 2 minutes between grades 3 and K...is it possible to move "K" times 2 minutes later
2nd grade going to specials right after lunch, it was a problem this year....5th grade at end of day....specials are expereincing too many discipline problems with kids coming from SPA.
